I would like to take a moment to thank you. I have a different experience than most because I am not a parent of a child in Early Intervention. Instead, I am a proud Aunt of a 2 1/2 year old in EI who has the diagnosis of Autism. In addition, I am also my nephew's daycare provider. So this training is very essential to my growth and development as a leader within my community. I plan on taking all the information and knowledge I have gained to inform all the parents with whom I have daily contact. In my opinion, it is very crucial to get the word out as early as possible about these types of programs. When a parent hears their child might have a delay it can be very confusing and trying time. It does bring up a tremendous amount of questions and concerns. Being a daycare provider I get asked questions that I am not always able to answer. This training is now allowing me to properly provide these parents with the resources they would not have received otherwise. Thank you again...you have opened doors for others to continue to speak for all those children who do not have a voice.
