Early Intervention has changed my life.  Before EI, my daughter was closed off to us.  She did not speak.  She did not point.  She would sit on the floor and spin in circles.  She would seek out and eat non-food items full of fuzz off the floor.  If she was engaged with a toy and tried to play with her she would cry and turn away.  A year later, thanks to an amazing team of providers, she has language and can make her needs known.  She has play skills and can participate in activities with her sister.  She has gone from a dark, dark world and stressful place to one of joy and love and lightness.  She has a long way to go, but without EI she wouldn't even be on the road.
